Weddings at Hollybank House

Hollybank is a lovely Georgian Country house on the outskirts of Emsworth and is a unique, romantic and friendly venue for a wedding reception or private function.

The extensive lawn with distant views to Chichester Harbour offers the perfect marquee site to create your own very special occasion, using marquee firms, caterers, florists and other suppliers of your choice. We are happy to recommend excellent suppliers if you would like us to do so.

Guests arrive through the house and enjoy the main reception rooms before moving onto the south facing terraces and lawn for drinks.

The main reception rooms of the house can be used for smaller, informal wedding receptions, but this is normally limited to about 70 people. See our Functions page for more details.

The house is floodlit and has ample parking, cars may be left overnight.

Our Bed and Breakfast facilities are also available for you or your guests.

"Please accept our sincere thanks for all you did to make Katherine & Paul’s wedding day such a lovely occasion. You were so helpful in the run up to the event, and on the day everything seemed to go so smoothly, certainly from our point of view. Everyone loved the venue, it had such a relaxed, country feel on the day, just what the happy couple wanted, and all our guests who were staying at the house so enjoyed your hospitality and the lovely rooms."

"A huge thank you for letting us use your lovely home for our wedding reception in August. So many guests commented on how gorgeous the place is. Thank you also for all the help you gave while we stayed there with the family and for being so accommodating to our needs – it was a real blessing and much appreciated."

"I write to express our great thanks for the use of your lovely home and garden for Johnny & Hannah’s wedding, Hollybank was just the perfect location for the reception. Your warm welcome and unobtrusive presence must have been very carefully crafted; I’m sure you’ve developed a rather special patience in sharing your home with so many intruders."

"It was a pleasure to meet you as well as to use your home. Our day was just perfect in every respect. All our guests, including ‘Taggart’ (the dog),were delighted with all the arrangements we had put in place together and also so appreciative of the surroundings and the warmth and comfort of your home. You certainly went the extra mile for us. Thank you both so much."
